These Terms and Conditions govern your use of EngoTalk (engotalk.com), operated by EngoTalk, Dhaka, Bangladesh ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or purchasing any service on engotalk.com, you agree to these Terms.

1. Our Service

EngoTalk is an online English speaking practice platform. We connect learners with expert tutors and practice partners for live one-on-one video speaking sessions. Our services include:

  • One-on-one tutor sessions booked from tutor schedules
  • Instant practice matching with peers at your level
  • PRO membership with unlimited free practice sessions
  • Wallet deposits used to pay for sessions
  • Student earning program for eligible Intermediate and above learners

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when registering. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old; accounts for children must be created and supervised by a parent or guardian.

3. Payments and Pricing

Prices are displayed on the site before every purchase and may be shown in your local currency. Payments are processed by our payment partners (including Paddle for international/USD payments and SSLCommerz for BDT payments). You authorize us to charge the payment method you provide. All fees are shown inclusive of applicable taxes where required.

4. Bookings and Sessions

A booking reserves a specific tutor time slot or practice match. Session fees are only finalized when a match or booking is confirmed. If a session cannot be delivered by us or the tutor, the fee is refunded to your wallet or original payment method as described in our Refund Policy.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the platform, harass other users, share inappropriate content during sessions, attempt fraud, or circumvent our payment and credit systems. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules without refund of unused paid services in cases of fraud or abuse.

6. Student Earning Program

Eligible learners (Intermediate level and above) may enable earning and receive payouts for practice sessions delivered to other students. Earnings can be withdrawn through the methods shown in your wallet, subject to the minimum withdrawal amount and verification. We may withhold payouts in cases of suspected fraud.

EngoTalk may change earning commission rates and earning rules at any time, at our sole discretion. Updated rates apply to sessions completed after the change takes effect. Earnings already approved before the change will be paid at the rate in force at that time.

7. Affiliate Program

EngoTalk may change affiliate commission rates, qualifying conditions, and payout rules at any time, at our sole discretion. Updated rates apply to referrals recorded after the change takes effect.

We may also suspend or permanently discontinue the affiliate program at any time. If the program is discontinued, all commissions that were already approved and payable at that time will be paid out to participants before the program is switched off. Commissions linked to fraudulent, self-referred, or cancelled/refunded activity may be voided.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, and software on engotalk.com are the property of EngoTalk and may not be copied or reused without written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, EngoTalk is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for interruptions caused by third-party providers (video, payment, or network services).

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
