Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to all purchases made on EngoTalk (engotalk.com), including tutor session bookings, instant practice sessions, PRO memberships, and wallet deposits.
1. Sessions We Fail to Deliver
If a paid session cannot be delivered because of a platform issue or a tutor/partner no-show, the full session fee is refunded automatically to your EngoTalk wallet balance. You may use this balance for any future session or request a payout to your original payment method by contacting us.
2. Booking Cancellations
You may cancel a booked tutor session before it starts. Cancellations made at least 1 hour before the scheduled start time receive a full credit to your wallet balance. Late cancellations (under 1 hour) may be credited at our discretion.
3. PRO Membership
PRO membership fees are refundable within 7 days of purchase if you have not used any membership benefit (such as joining free practice sessions). After any benefit has been used, or after 7 days, membership fees are non-refundable.
If a PRO member books a lesson but does not attend, the membership may be reviewed and cancelled for misuse of unlimited booking privileges.
4. Wallet Deposits
Unused wallet deposit amounts can be refunded to your original payment method within 14 days of the deposit. Amounts already spent on delivered sessions are non-refundable.
5. How Refunds Are Issued
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method whenever possible. Refunds to international cards via Whop typically appear within 5–10 business days; BDT refunds via SSLCommerz may take up to 7–14 business days depending on your bank.
6. Non-Refundable Cases
- Sessions that were successfully delivered
- Bookings that were not attended without a valid reason
- Accounts suspended for fraud, abuse, or violation of our Terms
- Free class credits, rebooking credits, or promotional credits (these have no cash value)
