How many people are there in your family?

There are five people in my family: my parents, my two younger sisters and me. I'm the oldest. My father works in a bank and my mother is a teacher. We are very close and we usually have dinner together every evening and talk about our day.
Notice how the answer gives a reason and an example instead of a one-word reply.
